Maya Entertainment Ltd. (MEL) is one of India's oldest and most respected animation studios. Founded in 1996, MEL has grown to encompass businesses in animation and visual effects, content production and 3D animation education.

MELs CG animation studios in Mumbai and Delhi have over 200 talented artists whose work has been recognized at BAFTA, Pulcinella, and GDC. They have delivered projects in a wide variety of formats and styles, demonstrating MELs creative and technical strength. The content division has produced several live action shows and is currently working on its own in-house CG feature. It is also partnering on co-productions to develop IP for the global TV market.

Maya Academy for Advanced Cinematics, the 3D animation education division, is growing rapidly and has over 60 schools in 5 countries with 10000 students passing through its courses annually. A large portion of the 3D industry in India is fueled by trained talent from MAAC. MAAC has strategic alliances with Autodesk, NVidia, Apple, HP and other industry stalwarts, and has an alliance with Cambridge University , UK , for certification.
